Let them eat cake, if often repeated as said by Marie Antoninette, but actually history shows it was most likely said by Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s confessions in 1765. Who knows who really said, but its often a display that the cares of peasants are not important.
Who are the peasants you ask, well WE of course. The peasants can be the average person who gripes about their problems often by whole societies.
We happen to live in that kind of society, a society that preaches to each their own, a dog-eat-dog world as we are to fend for ourselves and NO one is going help us, we are on our own.
Heatless Society and Getting Worse!
We live in a heartless society that is ok with people failing, not having the necessary food and shelter to survive. Where corporations and their greed infect our lives just to get the necessities like food.
It is said since the pandemic, corporations are the reasons for high prices, High inflation because they felt the need to take advantage and are NOT going to lower prices as they are happy with their greed. We are stuck paying for it as the cost of rent continues to rise, outpricing many who can not even afford a one-bedroom, crappy apartment that isn’t even worth the materials it was built it, but what can we do.
Just so you know you are not alone, many are struggling to make it, even those who normally would be fine with double incomes. I personally work two jobs, 1 full time, 1 part time and my wife works too and living in California where the cost continues to rise, I pray we will be ok but at what point do we say enough to caring so much if I bills get paid on time, as long as they get their money, why do we put so much DAMN pressure on ourselves to pay ONTIME. I get it we are condition that we do not want to MESS up our credit, we NEED to be on good terms with creditors, we NEED to be responsible, blah, blah, blah, Thanks mom
There are things that really trigger me, often when I see the wealthy bitch about the cost of living, that they can not possibly live off $200,000 dollars or a million dollars and what are they going to do. I may NEVER make $200,000 in my given year, and if I did, I surely would not be bitching about how the world is unfair to me and my family, just shut the $%&@#$ Up already.
Our society is cold and heartless as we see people just trying to make it and the fat cats of world say, “Just let them eat cake”. Let them starve, be homeless, destitute, suffer, what do we care I have everything I need. We even see it today with average Joe’s who are not wealthy have a lack, an ounce of empathy for their fellow, man, women, and child that is world we live in.
What’s The Point of Worry
What is the point anymore to worry so much about what Society things, what are creditors think of us as it’s a business, a faceless entity whose only care is making money however they can get it. Corporations would stripe us of our Livelihood if they could.
Don’t get me wrong I pay my bills, because frankly I can not not pay the electricity, the gas, the rent, even the phone and car, we need all of things. But do we need the credit card, that subscription, that bill that doesn’t impact anything to our credit, like our cable bill, why do we care if we pay on time. Even paying your electricity or gas bill will NOT result in automatic shut off.
We look around today and see people getting away with murder for not paying their responsibilities like people who don’t pay child and spousal support, those people are far worse especially who do not support their children all on account that they HATE the Mother, They say they are NOT the father and refuse to pay.
I think about all those rich people who refuse to pay their share in society, who cheat the system, but I guess you can say society lets the rich cheat the system, but who is going to fight some millionaire or billionaire, its easier to go after easy prey like you and I to get something, who cares if it causes great harm to people.
My Hate of Politics
I am fed up how those who are supposed to be model citizens cheat the systems, like Politicians, because again who is going to fight them as the can literally say and do what they want, which is why I HATE politics.
Some would say there are people who care, that try to help those in need, but there’s very little of who care as we MUST focus on ourselves, focus on surviving and doing what we can to Keep the lights on and our ability to go to and from work, where often we put our credit cards ahead of everything instead of paying the rent, instead of putting food on the table, the basic necessities come first instead of worry about the face loan companies.
Stop Feeling Guilty
Let’s STOP feeling guilty for putting our basic needs first and not the Loan companies, Credit cards and those that have no ability to put us on the street. I understand we still must pay them, they are due but on your TIME , when you CAN.
Let’s wake up, get Angry at the Injustice that takes place each day and its only getting worse. Lastly What I am saying kind of goes against my Moral and Ethical principles, but WHO cares. I know GOD will provide and no where in the bible does it say we need to Fidelity to companies, that we need to kiss their ring.
