The fear of the unknown is scary, especially in today’s day and age as I live in the United States, where many would say there is nothing to be concerned about, we live in the greatest age with Trump as our president, will the senate and house of republicans they have our back and put this country back to where we should be. Not that this is going to be a political message, its NOT and frankly I don’t follow politics and frankly I almost hate politics, because it’s the antithesis of what actually happens, as we shouldn’t be surprises at the chaos that is taking place in our country, as there are parties behind the scenes attempting to pull strings in our lives.
The Complexities of a Country
I understand as a country and a world its very complex to what it takes to run a country, a state and a government along with fighting off the threats this country may face from countries that hate us and will do anything to destroy us. But we are doing a pretty good job ourselves of destroying ourselves from within, much like Rome did when it was a the superpower of its day. We are imploding with hate and greed, which is something that has been around throughout society.
There has always been rich and powerful, attempting to control society, put them in their place so to speak, because frankly what are the little people going to do. Man will always attempt to control the narrative, the little person who has neither wealth or power, disguising it as “We are just trying to help you,” “Get in line or else.”.
I have known people growing up like this with a grandfather, who I was forced to get in line, do as he says, do not speak unless spoken too, no love , no compassion. We are being run by a country of men and women who during this season have the ability or attempt to control you and I, to remove our resources, to make people suffer and watch them squirm, which is what the rich and powerful want to stand back and see.
The Price of our Choices
This is the price we pay for our elected officials, it’s the American democracy at work and although many will say, well its normal and that is true yes and no. No man or women is perfect, but there are those will be take advantage of the system, cheat and see how far one could go with getting away and being those today in powerful, they are practically untouchable, who is going to go against anyone, question them.
This phase of government of strong ethics and values is gone, again no one is perfect as the previous administration had their faults such as hearing of the toxic environments that would exist with both the President and VP often going on profanity laden rants to their advisors and staff, creating an environment where people were forced to leave.
One would say well that is expected not everyone can cut it if you work in government, you have to have thick skin, which may be true. I wouldn’t know I have never worked in government, most public sector, where for the most part things are calm, working with clients and customers, its not the end of the world if a customer is unhappy, I wont necessarily lose my job.
Hate is the New Norm
What has shifted is the new norm to how people act and treat each other as its suddenly cool to treat people horribly to think our fellow man, women and children as less than human if they are undocumented, have brown skin or person of color. Its Cool to put down the LGBTQ community, push them to the edge of ending it all themselves, removing their resources of support in hopes they will just remove themselves from society, that is the messaging of today, you are not important, you have no value, you are worthless, be gone or we will make you disappear.
I get we need to protect our borders from bad actors coming in and doing damage, but for the most part most who wish to come here, are looking for a better life, to have the ability to feed and house themselves and their families, only because in their own country they are unable to do that and frankly its because their government, and society doesn’t care if you live, starve or die. We happen to be a country of compassion for the most part, a helping hand to the world, especially the foreigner. Having Citizenship is not a prerequisite to treat a fellow human with kindness and respect something we all deserve, but don’t get today, even for people born here.
Even as a American, born a raised here since 1979, I am also treated with distain, looked as less than on account of my slightly browner skin tone, which I blame my father for, because my mother was white as snow, I didn’t inherit that part of her, wish I did as I probably would be living a different life today. For the most part people treat me with respect though, but as we move along the next fours years that could all change.
Stress Levels on Overload
I am bubbling with stress and anxiety to what is coming as my newsfeed is filled with stories each day about the New world order and how our country is being reshaped to hate, to not care about the less fortunate and that we either have the rich or poor, no human, you are either rich or poor in how you will be treated in society. I am by no means rich, quite poor actually.
Today’s day and age is in the making of what I see as a future dictatorship and many will find that laughable, thinking that will never happen, but we have seen this before, as leaders have stolen control of the peoples will, forcing harm on to the society, where no one steps in to correct the harm being done.
Although I can not compare our day to the days of Hilter and Nazis, there are similarities to how people have come into power, except the country voted for our leader and as far as we know will be done in four years. Four years of harm, of a wreaking ball to our society, reshaping how people should treat each other as many , millions will mimic the president in how he treats people to inflict harm to others, teaching society that its perfectly acceptable to put down people, make fun, harm, and do anything we do to get our way. Unfortunately this is nothing new, but what is new that the people who should know better the Christian, the followers of Jesus have fallen in Line and practicing behavior Jesus would find horrible, going against his teachings, yet they still call themselves lovers of Jesus.
No man or women is perfect but when you say I follow Jesus and have been gifted with the bible as the literal word of god in how we are to treat people and don’t then you are not a true believer, a hypocrite. These are not the same people who follow Jesus and sin, because we are all sinners saved by grace, but at least we ask Jesus for forgiveness and he forgives and we start over with attempting to be good people, but as Jesus states there are no good people, no not one, just GOD is good period.
We happen to have a president and staff who preaches of the love of Jesus but have no Jesus in their hearts, its all a ruse to get people to comply and fall in line and sorry to say those stupid fake Christians give real believers a bad name and reputation as they often post and display their faith on their t-shirts, slogans, banners, hats proclaiming to be followers, where those who are not followers, are introduced to these so called believers seeing that they do not want to be believers after all, because of the hate they display and who can blame them, they don’t truly represent Jesus and sadly these people are in our current administration and in high and glory preaching from their pulpits of the presidency, having no clue what the American people need or want but live in their bubble.
My mind and spirit are spent today, tired, exhausted over the decline of our society, but I guess I should expect that because its run by men and women with not an ounce of moral fiber in their being, but that not just in Government its infested in our culture and society of greed, the American way. We live in our bubble here in the great US of A.
People are not alone in this world, although it feels as we are you. You are loved, cared for but we must overcome this time in history and can, but we must become zombies to what goes on around us, almost uncaring but keep your humanity, your heart, your kindness towards offers especially the migrant, the undocumented, the LGBQT community, they are our fellow humans after all and trying to survive like the rest of us.
If you are fortunate to have wealth, a nice home, two cars, food in your fridge and money in the bank, you are FAR richer then you realize because there are people like me who dips my hand in my pocket and having very little, but have a roof, have food in my fridge and a warm better, a RICH man I am in need.
People today are far worse than we realize living on the streets, or their cars walking among us like normal, stitting with us at work like normal, as we have no clue to the struggles of what people are going through and how the mental state of people are our society is rapidly changing, as people are broken like myself, about to give up, because frankly what is the point of living in this world any longer when we have men and women who want to control our lives, our ability to be happy and live a good live, that is what we have to look forward for the next four years and may be beyond, men and women from behind the scenes pulling strings in our indirect lives, but the question is will you let them, will you stand up to them, get mad and fight back.
I hope you will. Keep fighting, never give up but if you give up and find your hand at the end of your revolver or a hanging a noose around your neck, I don’t blame you, life is tough, tougher than usual especially today in what we have to deal with, but remember you are love, just that society doesn’t love you nor your government, you and I are pawns to them, no really people, but walking and talking dollar signs and when we don’t have money, we cease to exist today. Spend time with your loved ones, family , friends because frankly you never know when it could all be over.
