I cannot lie that over the past few months, my anxiety, my depression has increased. Although I am very self-reflective of the reason behind it, it has a lot to do with the state of our country and what is happening today. As we have a what I call a rogue president with evil, dictatorship, authoritative aspirations, which are all in reach. Each day, I hear something new, some way that the government is looking to make people suffer, removal of their lively hood, some people getting deported, families destroyed.
Although we’d like to think that those being shipped off are criminals and some are, many are not, many are hardworking people minding their own business feeding their families, living in what was a country free from Tyranny but that is gone. We now are shifting towards a gestapo state, we are turning eventually into a Pyongyang, where our words are being monitored, even more so, yes we are being watched, listened too, recorded and that could be used against us each if we say the wrong things, offend are fearless leader DJT, not showing him the proper respect and ass kissing, destroying the presidency as we know it, once a respectable honor but now full dictatorship with yes men and women.
I can’t say I didn’t warn you, this is far worse then what we have read in George Orwell’s 1984 and many will think I am overacting, over dramatic that we still have freedom, some would say we have more freedom under DJT then we had under previous administrations, which what they want us to believe, all lies I say.
Yes, I sound unhinged, paranoid, but I should be as I am waiting until I cant go driving down the street to my job or pick up my daughter from school without being pulled over for being undesirable or dissenter which is what this country now hates as he would often promote being a freethinker, but not anymore.
I am filled with anger daily which is not healthy obliviously some would even say I suffer with DTJ derangement syndrome, maybe I do, I choose not to speak of that vile man, if you can call him that. Some would say what is the point of being angry at someone or something you have no control over like the state of the country and why not. Our anger is all we have, but I have to realize quickly that this man in power or any man in power is allowed, he was not first will not be the last, there are of course, those who are watching for how we as a country react to such power to see what man can get away.
This is something we have seen before, with someone called Adolf Hitler and yes I know many will say, you can not compare DJT to Hitler, he hasn’t murdered people. Actually yes as I as I know Hitler never murdered anyone personally, but his regime did, the same is happening today in his name, under his authority and yes many will disagree its not the same, especially with those who are being deported, who are labeled gang members, criminals and must be rid of vermin, as they have infested the country, where have I heard that before.
People choose to ignore history, justifying it so that DJT is just trying to clean up the cesspool of a government, the corrupt, drain the swamp and save the America people money and save the soul of our nation, but the opposite is happening, our country’s so to speak so is damaged, the moral fabric of our country is leaving, but there is still some hope with people out there, who see what is going on and unwilling to kiss the ring, unrelenting, but far too many are giving in, finding its much simpler to spit on their fellow, man, women and child and yes that may not be literally but it could be.
We live in country consumed with media, news, opinions, print, words and what man and women have to say as if its truth and fact it is not. Due to many have a platform, they are called experts, they are not. All these opinions have infected the minds of people and social media is a huge part of that as people who have large megaphones like on X and Facebook, reaching billions, from those who we once considered sane, they voice truthful no longer, speaking in parseltongue or Newspeak. We still have one truth, the Word of God, the Bible, but even so-called Christians attempt to spin the word of God, speaking of lies.
Thinking of Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter.”
The bible being the only truth left, but sadly even those who preach to millions know how to manipulate Gods word and God will not stand for it. What is so upsetting is those who should be speaking truth silent like pastors, who have preached from pulpit on the virtue of DJT and why its important to vote for him and how Biden and Kamala would only destroy the fabric of our country, take away our rights and freedoms, remove religion and God on account that the LGBQT community is allowed to live, allowed marry who they choose, allowed to change sexes.
As a Christian I am may does not believe in a lifestyle of the LGBQT community, but who am I to tell how to live, its their life, they life is between them and GOD. I don’t hate and never will hate those who have free will like I do yet in our country today. There is a battle against those who are simply different, live differently who live lifestyles people find repulsive, disgusting, who frankly cannot and don’t wish for people to be happy.
Yes, there will always be people like this, they have and will always exist to spread their hate and if allowed kill and murder, which is happening and has been happening but there have been drastic raises in Hate. I don’t Soley blame DJT but he apart of the problem who has enabled, encouraged this behavior and has made evilness acceptable, but again evil has always been around since the beginning of time between God and the Devil, sin.
All of this has affected my mental state, no longer to be ignored, no longer thinking things will eventually go back to normal, they will not after these four years, this has only triggered the acceptance of hate. I want to have hope there is good in people and that people will not allow what is happening in this country to affect them.
As I attempt to live my life, care for my family, make sure we have a roof over our head, this has triggered my mental state as I think about how much worse it could get, surprised when I hear some new way people are being treated. I truly believe this is not in every country, but our country has a history of hate, of control and mistreating (I.e. Indigenous people, African Americans, Slavery). The list goes on and continues today as DJT once quoted “There good people on both sides” when he spoke about those who attended the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia and those who demonstrated against it.
I see you defenders out there of this quote, who often say well he didn’t mean that, he was misquoted, taken out of context, I say bull shit. Some much confusion today, what is fact, fiction, who do we trust, I guess that’s the whole point in the DJT regime, as to make it appear as he would never lie to us, but lets me clear, he is a Bonafide liar, he’s a Bonafide philanderer, even a rapist which many would argue and through those women’s claims they are liars, they just want money and attention, a sad reality for women. In addition, having been known to mock Christians, veterans and soldiers which is documented.
What does this have to do with me, my mental health and for many who would say nothing, there is no relationship, but there is, and he is not the only reason for what I am struggling with, he is a symptom. Unfortunately, others are going through what I am going, seeing the news, is hard to ignore, putting aside the threat this country is under, and it only gets worse.
Not to sound paranoid, We do live in dark times, but maybe I should and we should expect these times, as it was foretold by Jesus himself, but until we see for ourselves, the fear and the reality come into place, I am not alone, many of the edge of anarchy, chaos taking over, pushed to the brink of fiscal insolvency making living much harder then it is today.
This has pushed me to the limit, as the cost-of-living increases, as the coldness of this world increases, as my heart grows harder slowly, sadder, disappointed that we are supposed to be one of the greatest societies but have failed miserably, a country focused on greed and control that only increasingly gets worse.
I think what is the point anymore for caring, when it seems those who are supposed to protect society from what is happening have failed, who are silent even now. Who is speaking up for the rest of society today, apparently no one.
If I sound incoherent, its due to being in a state of unbelief, of fear, disappointment, of anger and a flood of other emotions, as society has chosen this direction of self-destruction, a sad day for America and human kind.
