For those writers out there, you know how freeing it can be to create a character, a world and to infuse ourselves into our stories, our characters. Giving you an ability to create a character or characters unique to our beliefs and values. Just as it is important to create powerful fictional characters in books, we must not forget that our voice, our narrative it vital to our creativity to let those who read our stories, to know who we are as people and writers.
That is why I have written my autobiography “The Forgotten Son”, currently out on all major online retailers, in addition to life chapters coming out June, October 2025 and February 2026. But my story was not complete, it evolves like all of us.
It gives me pleasure to introduce my memoir “Runaway, Shame”, out December 1st, 2025. An important book that accompanies the “The Forgotten Son”, detailing my struggles and battles with personal shame.

Toxic shame is painful, soul wrenching and even deadly to those who carry this shame, something I am familiar with each day. With this book I detail the many forms of Shame I experience from my past to present, Shame that feels like a two-hundred-pound boulder that sits on my shoulders each day.
Writing this book as away to reach those who experience shame each day and how one can combat it, but knowing it’s a personal journey to recover. One of the inspirations for this book was Tammy Lally, the money coach who gave a TED talk years ago called “Let’s get honest about our money problems” on her personal journey with Money Shame and the suicide of her brother at only 40 years old. I say this because this shame is deadly and I know it still takes lives each day, especially for those who live in silence. Her TED talk inspired me to write this personal reflection of Shame.
As I get closer to publication, I will speak more of that shame but would appreciate picking up a virtual copy or ordering through all major online retailers like Amazon and Barnes. This book could be possible without Ingram Spark self-Publishing.
