In today’s world, fear is a point that many may fail to recognize. People feel helpless and like they do not belong. This is true regardless of whether you were born here or not. Ultimately, it is about control. Even if you were not born in the Good Ole’ USA, you might feel unsecure about your place in the country. I like to think we are a land of opportunity. We are a country with open arms to those from far off lands. People come here hoping to live a life of peace, raise a family, and be in a place free of tyranny. Our leaders genuinely have the interests of the people at heart.
No One Gives a Damn!
But who are we kidding, I would love to believe that our government gives a damn, but no and that is because it’s impossible to expect men and women in powerful positions to care about each constituents because frankly they all have their own agenda on their own prosperity and success, who cares if I live, succeed and thrive, we are nothing in the scope of things.
It would be great to imagine a world where one could live in peace, earn an income to support oneself and family, money to go on a vacation at least once a year, not have to work two or three jobs, not be forced into debt to survive. For some reading this you may callously say well that is all possible if you work really hard, choose a good profession, go to a great school and then you can make it. Sure, great except that I didn’t go to the best school, taking years to discover what I wanted to do, working in positions that were good positions but went nowhere in the long run on account for most companies sold a bill of goods that they would promote me, provide me career growth, blah, blah, blah.
Over time, I have seen and been a part of a cutback, layoffs, restructurings, change of jobs out of necessity and choice, never truly staying with the same company for more than three years, which has affected me today. Yes, one could say I am to blame for my own career choices, who else is to blame. Yes, I am accountable for my choices and Ill admit made choices I thought were in the best interests, but came to see they were not, dead ends ultimately, which has led me where I am today. I am not alone with what I have experienced, being apart of generation “X”, the forgotten generation, we have experienced downturns in our economy, the financial crisis, the tech boom.
Exhausted of today’s political climate, although I don’t follow the divisive topic, having seen the result, leading to greed, men and women who want the world to kiss the ring, bow down, become a slave to their needs. We see it today even more so, regardless of your political party, making politics a party of loyalty, labeling your right or left, woke , conservative. Words that used to have mean, especially in the world of conservativism, taking a new form that would not be recognized today. I often think of one of my favorite shows growing up “Family Ties”, Alex P. Keaton a true conservative, who despite not agreeing with everything he says or does, ultimately respecting and loving the character for what he stood for, that form of conversative doesn’t exist anymore.
We are once again in a cult era of loyalty tests, McCarthyism, well before my own time, but history does tend to repeat itself, despite warnings that we are going off the wrong path. A big part of the path we are on is due to reasons outside our control, but maybe we have some control like technology and how its used today to manipulate and control the minds of users, to influence, dissuade, misinform, disinform, millions, billions who are stuck to their screen’s way too much.
Social media is not our friend, it’s a disruptor as much as people want to believe it has no real significance in their lives, because they are not influenced, but they are as they check their status minute after minute, glued to who’s online, what is being posted and shared, who is liking their comments, their posts. Unfortunately, we not have the youngest minds addicted to the poisonous pill and as much as one can say, well you have a choice not to use it and its true if you have the will power not to use, to turn it , delete it like I have done to a degree, except I still have LinkedIn, which I need to get around to deleting which has become a business user friendly form of Facebook, where it was once a place those can post about job search, business articles has turned into a place where you are free to leave political message, Meme’s, comments , throw shade at people who dare to comment. Its used as a tool to weed out potential job applicants for their posts, not based on their qualifications any longer, but posts about your political views, your whining about not finding a job quick enough, your sadness and pain how shared on LinkedIn each day, something I have been guilty of myself.
I choose to stay away for the most part, stay ignorant of what is happening because deep down I know what is happening, like that of Orwellian novel, specifically one of my favorites “1984” as Orwell warned of the control government can inflict on its Citizens to believe lies at truth, rewiring history in the Ministry of Truth, as there have been similarities made to Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board.
Rewriting of History
The current administration of DJT has and is going through great lengths to eliminate history from history books, like as if Slavery never existed, making those who are different, foreigners, migrants as enemies of the people, criminals and a danger of our society to ride the vermin from society or animals to dehumanize people but really used it against those who speak against him, dissenters who refuse to bow, kiss his ring, if you don’t you are an enemy of the country regardless if you are born here, looking in some way to find a legal loophole to ship U.S. Citizenship off to Bombay which if you haven’t notice our government is now in the business of kidnapping migrants off the streets, taking away in white or blank unmark vans to destinations unknown.
At what point when this happens to American Citizens, but maybe its already happening as DJT cleverly finds way to ship Americans off to Cuba, El Salvador or far off distant land with little to no hope of seeing that person again. What does he care about those he ships off, they mean nothing to him, the Citizens mean nothing to him, just the health of his own bank account as he makes friends with dictators around the world who are willing to throw money at him, while Citizen struggle each day to survive.
What fools the U.S has become to believe in a man who cares nothing for its people, the laws, we are all transactions to his means but who cares right.
Society is not complete lost yet, although we are getting there as the DJT administration chips aways our rights, removes our voice, sending in American Gestapo who many would argue well those men and women are just doing their job, they have no choice as in recent days ICE raids coming into our small towns, businesses and even homes to take you away from your family, regardless of your connection of paying taxes which will never benefit them, stripping a way a person’s humanity and livelihood, the is the point of today’s cruel world and government.
The Puppet Master
The DJT administration is not acting alone of course, as he is too stupid to think for himself, along with his breed of rejects, but a true puppet master who is calling the shots in our government to inflict pain on the citizen and non-citizen, as the exchange of power and money go hand in hand as the slight of handing is happening as we speak, a distraction to what is really going on, something we may never known but truly sinister.
Sadly those who preach goodness, fairness and love are apart of this scheme happening under our noses, its all about money and power once again and many are happy to go along as long as they get their fair cut of the action, people of influence, the rich, government, legal, all working hand in hand to get the end result of total domination of the people like those who live in third world countries, the middle east where you have not rights, your humanity is stripped away completely with no voice , completely silenced in every aspect, that is our direction.
Those who say we promote free speech especially online do not as they sell our voices, words, images and likeness to make billions while the people suffer , struggle to survive on the brink of giving up, many on the brink of death, as we become mother Russia and Iran, you have been warned thinking that will never happening, but the puppet master has incredible slight of hand, as it will be too late before we realize we have all been had and then it’s too late to recover as the completion and restructuring of our country has been complete handing complete control to whoever is willing to take it, no need for a democracy because democracy is dead.
We must continue to fight, not stay quiet, expose those who attempt to snuff out our words, our images and humanity, power to the people I say because we do have power in this country and world, we are also GOD ordained as a follower of Jesus knows that he has the ultimate power, NOT DJT, not government. We must continue to Rage against the machine, but not be destroyers of our country and state, we don’t need to burn the place down.
I will add I am not in agreement with burning down, destroying property, shooting, harming law enforcement or anything, but recent events have only shown how the situation has been enflamed by language, anger, hate towards the migrants and human beings. We must continue to be vigilant, or our society will turn into those written about in 1984 or some other Dystopian life, no one asked for. The world is watching and many are looking forward to our downfall.
Remember that striking fear in everyday citizens and non-citizens is the answer, weaken us in to giving in and up our rights for protection, creating fake crisises as the wool gets pulled over our eyes. Be ready its happening now, it has been happening not only since 2016 but before, as many have fallen, hook, line and sinker for the lies fed to us each day. Some and may even many may feel I am the one lying to myself, but I doubt that, but again how would I know, except why would I ever trust a lying, cheating, rapist and felon leader of the free world. Why would anyone believe he has our best interests at heart, but only loves one person himself.
Wake up but maybe its too late.
