First and foremost, that murder of any kind is wrong, regardless of how people justify their reasoning behind it. Due to recent events with the killing of Charlie Kirk, the MAGA conservative right-wing activist. Personally, I didn’t care for the person for variety of reasons, despite the fact that I am a Christian, his ideology does not align with my own, which for many Christians, I would be considered a left wing/center democrat but let’s not put labels.
We Should ALL Be able to LIVE
I believe that every person should be able to live in a world at peace, to work, support one’s family and regardless of if you are in this country documented or not, if you are not some criminals. There are so much more going on in the world today and our own country and although the death of Kirk is tragic, it doesn’t necessarily affect my life, but maybe it does in some indirect way.
Orwellian times are Here!
I find what is happening to state of country most alarming, but if anyone has read my blogs, its very much what I had spoke of would happen, in an Orwellian 1984 kind of way. The way our citizens and non citizens and just human beings are treated in this country is atrocious as many preached about kindness, respect, civility, that is all gone and has been gone for quite some time now.
Societ Media Warps the Minds
I guess that is the point and what social media has done to warp the minds of millions, the big lie that Undocumented people are the enemy, that democrats are out to destroy the country with their wokeness and Republicans wish to strip the rights from the people, which I believe to be true as we don’t live in a country of laws but ideology to how republicans says a person should live their lives, removing free will.
Some may say well isn’t an undocumented person a criminal in the eyes of the law, YES and NO, because a person here who is undocumented, regardless if they overstayed their visa or outright crossed the border is a civil matter and not criminal but in our country especially under the administration of DJT, all undocumented people are criminals and need to be kicked out, forced out, imprisoned and eventually if he had his way shot on site by ICE.
Extremism Starts in the Heart and Mind
Some may say I am being extreme here and that the president of the United States would never sanction that. Well I disagree just as long as he has the modern day Gestapo do it, then his hands are clean as he could say it’s up to ICE to make the decision, but we have seen so far many immigrants violent pushed, shoved, attacked, stripped of their humanity and put in for profit prison where they are then mistreated, forgoes any medical treatment and even food, housing in cells that hold hundreds in overcrowded rooms.
Privilaged But the Future Affected
One cannot even imagine what these poor souls are going through, but the Right have made it so that these people are criminals, inhuman and deserve no human rights, which comes primarily from the right and especially MAGA. Charlie Kirk, in my opinion was a privileged white man, with a privileged Miss America wife and two perfect eugenically perfect children. Going across the country, speaking to MAGA youth, proclaiming his love for DJT and MAGA but many would argue he preached the name of Jesus.
I am in no way perfect, I too a believer in Jesus, but don’t have the influence, the followers, the network of people to speak and people listen. What I am trying to say is can one preach the name of Jesus and at the same time make incendiary comments about people, society and that is acceptable. Apparently it is because I have heard and seen make mega church pastors like Greg Laurie, Jack Hibbs and Franklin Graham praise the good servant of Charlie Kirk and would an incredible man he was of god, God and faithful servant.
We are ALL Sinners
We are ALL sinners saved by grace, despite ones beliefs in people and yes I believe people are entitled to their opinions, in fact it forces us to examine our beliefs and what and how we see people and the world. Just because I am a Christian does that mean I hate the LGBTQ community, do I hate the sinner, NO, but my hope is that they turn to Jesus. I have come across quite people and friends who lived life styles I don’t agree with, but did I ever wish for their stoning.
I get in biblical times if you were homosexual you could and would be stoned to death, but that is not our loving GOD, because their sin is not more than my sin, we all deserve death, we all deserve to go to HELL but Jesus is the way, even those we deem undeserving. We are all human, we are all deserving of love, respect and kindness, but we will not always get it in this world, even by those who say they love GOD as we are all flawed people, but there is Hope, there is grace, there is love.
Still a Free Country for NOW
I guess one can to each their own, he has the right to speak, it is a free country after all, for him at least, but words, beliefs, ideologies have impact, having meaning and he choose what he believed, unless it was some ruse to make money off the people, gain fame and even that is not a crime as many have choose to act in a manner that goes against who they are, but gains popularity, fame, money and wealth in the process, so why stop the gravy train.
Yes, much of conservatives followed him, feeling the need like many conservatives and MAGA to bash democrats, left wing ideology, bash the LGBTQ communities, wokeness and ultimately spreading hate to certain degree. One could say well Charlie was just speaking his mind, being him and didn’t deserve to die. I agree, no one should free go out and that should have no violence and come to be the person who loses their life.
Being Offensive is Nothing New
Some of the more offensive views included topics on Civil rights, Gun Control, Abortion, Women and fertility collapse, Gaza, Conspiracy theories.
For instance, on Martin Luther King Jr. stating the civil rights leader was “awful” and “Not a good person” and that it was a big mistake passing the Civil Rights Act of 1965. Other comments such as “I can’t stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made up new age term that does a lot of damage.” Lastly on Gun rights “”It’s worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights,” he said during an April 5, 2023, appearance at the Salt Lake City campus of Awaken Church. “That is a prudent deal.”

He has not been nor will be the only person who will die in the name of ideals, like those of John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Charlie Kirk. There will also be those who will take it too far with the belief that if they are not stopped, they will continue to affect society. But as a society we are already affected, we are already sick and although I would like to put all the blame on MAGA, DJT or Charlie, it’s not just him its many, years and this nothing new.
Dangerous Idealogies will Continue
There will always be those whose ideals go against what many of us think of, just look back at history of Hitler Youth, a real organization of the German Nazi party. Not sure if you can equate that Charlie Kirks Turning point USA, but there are similarities. Nothing wrong with trying to try the youth, but it has gone further then trying to inform, it has gone to full blown indoctrination, something the right wing loves to say that democrats are doing to the youth in our schools by teachers.
The killing of Kirk is not going to stop the MAGA movement, it will only inflame the base as DJT will use this moment and his alleged assignation to rile up his base to be bolder even violent against those who speak against their beliefs. There will be a wave of people who make comments, to speak out about his beliefs who be labeled as happy the man is dead, but that could be further from the church. Frankly most could care less the man is gone, aside from his family and closest friends maybe and yes those in the church and the current administration but overall he was just a man.
Understandability there are mouth pieces who has condoned the violence, provided their prayers and condolences to Kirk’s family, telling the world what a great man he was, how the world will never be the same, how his wife and kids will grow up without a father, which is unfortunate, but shouldn’t we as people be equally outraged about what is happening in our country as a whole, and the many lives being affected today. Why this is one’s man’s life so much more valuable compared to those innocent immigrants being locked away, send to far off lands and the key is just thrown away, where is the outrage from celebrities about that.
No One is Right or Wrong on Right or Left
I will say Right has something on the left, as who can forget in recent events of the murder of Luigi Mangione who murdered the CEO of United Healthcare in broad daylight, where he got almost a celebrity status for killing the CEO of the big bad insurance company. There seems to be less outrage about that situation which doesn’t make sense to me, but that goes to show you the depravity of our country and world, where there has been a total loss of morals and ethics in this country and even the world.
Death is certainty apart of life, people get murdered, killed and die every single day across the world. There are so many people who die senseless deaths each day at the hands of an abuser, a criminal, a car wreck, freak accident and even suicide. Many would argue well of course those deaths are important, they should not be forgotten, but we do forget about those people, where is the outrage about them.
A Country distracted is most Dangerous
We are a country distracted, a country divided that our attention is on those things small on the scale of what is to come our way, what is being done under our nose as we speak, by our own government.
I am not a heartless bastard that doesn’t care about a man who although didn’t believe in his politics felt he deserved death. But I will say if he was a man of faith like he says he was then he is with JESUS, which means he is in paradise right now. Yes gone too soon, but he is not the last to be gone too soon, people lose people each day, death is a part of life, despite the fact we don’t agree and agree a person should live long and die in prosperity rarely does everyone get to live in old age, for many life is short, because this life is a glimmer and for many Christians this is not our home, our home is in heaven.
Let’s Place our Rage in the Right Places
Let’s take our rage elsewhere like those who end their life to suicide because they have lost all hope of a better future for themselves, let’s put or rage on those people who inflict pain on other people currently abusing their power on others, especially from our own government, where is that rage. We all have an option to be kind, put politics aside, put ideologies aside and just LOVE, allow others to live in peace and remembering GOD owns it all, even the good Ole U.S.A.
Thinking of a recent message watching by Pastor Joey Buran of Worship Generation as he quoted a quote by Martin Luther King Jr.
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
Which is so true have we become silent to the injustices in this world to what really matters or are we too focused on what doesnt matter like social media, like Tiktok, like instagram, like “X” but I know many will argue those are not the reasons people are different today, but I believe it to be so but what can we do, its the times we live in and in a way I can not fully relate the children to the youth of today believe I didnt grow up with social media, I am from Generation “X”. One of the messages Pastor Buran spoke of is that when we rejoice in the death of a man or in this case a murder, we are equally a murderer in the eyes of the lord which makes us no better and yes we didnt pull the trigger, but wish death on any person is immoral and any argument of our goodness is wrong because no one person is righteous, Not even One.
The Double Standards of Today
Lastly where is the rage in the sense that if this was to happen to some left-wing leaning person, those same people weeping over Kirk would most likely jump for joy, they would not condone that assignation, as it just goes to show you how off we are as a society. Additionally, there are greater forces out there, evil forces like the Devil that made recent events happen and will continue to happen.
Political violence and violence will never stop and although we as society can condone political violence, demand for it to stop, it will not, simply because we live in evil, sin filled world and a country that has lost civility towards each other and although we would all like to think that we are good people and for the most part we will not commit political violence, but a few will take it a step further because of their own beliefs, but a lot of that has to do with our current world, much is due to Social media and the manipulation of the masses with disinformation, much of this is internal but because we are an interconnected world, much comes from bad actors who are trying to cause and effect our society to crumble and we are allowing it.
The Anger will not Subside Anytime Soon
Unsure what impact Kirk’s death will have on the MAGA, it will rile them up, anger them, spreading more hate and their fireless leader will use this as an opportunity to punish the left, the Dems as being hateful, as wishing death on the dearly departed and Dems will probably stay silent for the most part.
God help us in what is to come, asking when will people wake up to see for many we are being played right into autocracy, into submission and for many into oblivion as many fight to save our society but sadly the violence will not stop and suspect violence will only grow, something I not wishing for but unfortunately our society has a thirst for blood, for revenge on both sides of the political spectrum.
I would love to think that its only one side spreading hate but it’s both but have seen more on the right from my perspective. Ultimately there is just this hypocrisy. Strangely you don’t hear or see this type of division in other countries, but sure it exists in its own degree. Due to the recent killing I am possibly Mr. Kirk will be canonized for declaring his sainthood, although not a catholic that wouldn’t matter as he will be made into a MAGA saint along with DJT, what a world we live in.
I am truly conflicted at this point, despite having my own real problems, why this event and others consumes our lives when we as people should be focused on our own wellbeing, which sounds selfish, but no one else other than GOD himself is going to care for us, not even society, but do know that waves of these events will have effects in our society and I am sure the news, the media will speak of Kirk’s death for years to come, pounded the event into our minds to never forget that this was done by the left, although there have been not assassin caught, but that doesn’t matter, Democrats and the left will be demonized for this even and others.
Let’s not add more Hate and Division
Let’s not add to the hate, to the confusion of the noise of what is happening in the world, which is why I choose to write, as for anyone you can keep strolling or even cancel me if you choose. Yes the country mourns for Kirks death, many from the Christian community – Pastors, Evangelical leaders react to the killing of Charlie Kirk: ‘A Christian martyr’. Although I don’t agree with his politics have to believe if was a Christian, I will see him one day in heaven. Hopefully this blog was eye opening to what is truly important in this life and that our life here is just a glimmer, a blink of an eye and then its gone.
