Reflections on Morality, Division, and the Struggle for Compassion in America

As a person, a human, an American, not in necessary order, I was taught the importance of results for persons, to show kindness, be humble, so empathy for fellow man, women and child. I wasn’t necessarily taught to be proud of America, my veins don’t flow with red, white and blue, maybe red of course. For my life I have been taught to be responsible, go to school, get educated, go to work, take care of myself and my family.

Human Cruelty is Apart of my Existence

Never was I taught to be cruel, to step on your fellow human, this was something I saw every day growing up with my mother, grandfather (AKA the Devil) and my sister who berated us, put us down, told us how worthless we were, how we need to step on people to get ahead and not care, something I grew up since the age of five when my mother and father divorced and mom went looking for her long lost father who abandoned her decades before.  I resisted his teachings to turn me into him, fortunately mom was the one who was always there to correct me, but deep down it was not in me to be that way, being a sensitive boy with a soft heart, I didn’t want to reject people but bring people together and closer to me as I often searched for affirmed by others, but never found.

As one gets older you see the true cruelty of men and women, but it was not until I got into adulthood until I woke up to the evilness of men and women, how society teaches it’s okay to tear someone down, step on them and if necessary, eliminate them.  Again, I never felt the need for such evilness. Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, it saw true depravity of man, the sad state of homelessness and please look up “Skid Row”, no not the band the actual place and see how far we have fallen.

Never being political even today, I absolutely hate politics as it goes against the purpose of its use to serve the people, but it’s about self-enrichment, which is not necessarily new as the imaginary of fat cats as now there are more like Obese cats who have infected our political system with big money donors, billionaires shaping our laws, our policies for their benefits, again nothing new.

What I have seen more over even the last decade is callousness, the incivility towards people, discarding them like human garbage as we have perfected the way to treat humans. Yes, we have laws in place, not everyone can get away with murder, but some do, if your pockets are deep enough. The wonders what a great lawyer can do for the criminal, as you look at Sean “Puffy” combs, getting a measly 4 years in prison.

Look at our President a 34-time convicted felon who gets to be president of the United States, as he plunders the country along with his lackeys and family, allowed in our country. It is truly that Trump could shoot someone on 5th avenue in New York and wouldn’t be convicted, he would get a standing ovation for fighting crime. He is not the only one who has committed terrible acts against humanity and is rewarded, and he won’t be the last, that is what money gets you true freedom.

Due to this change and continuous change in the moral fabric of society, the person who was once moral and ethical is asking themselves what the point is. For myself, I am accountable in another way to GOD, but that doesn’t seem to stop others from committing atrocities and in actuality the greatest crimes in humanity have been in the name of religion. There is no fear of GOD in the United States, but I can’t speak for every person, I know there are good Christians, Christ followers who wouldn’t hurt a fly, wholesome loving people. There are those who hold up the cross and spite their neighbor, kill and murder.

I love to say Trump and others in this country are the cause for our moral decline, but that would give him too much credit. But he has stoked the flames of division, knows how to wield hate and division for his benefit, using his followers to do his dirty deeds, much like Hitler used the Nazi’s to follow his orders.

Yes, I get he is NOT Hitler, but a mimicking to what the worlds dictators have put into practice, he is following the rule book to authoritarianism, and he is not the only one, there is systemic campaign over the world to rule over people, put them under the thumb of government control.

I am frankly tired of hearing to cut the rhetoric on both sides of the isle with Dems and Repub that is this is stoking more violence, blaming dems for the decline along with the undocumented, the LGBQT, the liberals and whoever else can be blamed for the state of our country. From what I remember a few years ago I dont remember thousands of democrats storming our capital, but I do hear that dems were blamed for cheating, fixing the election, yet strangely the most recent election there was not election tampering, how convienant.

A Global Campaign of Human Elimination

Each day, we see a campaign to eliminate people, look what is happening to migrate in our country, modern day Gestapo (ICE) kidnapping people off the streets not to seen or heard from again, imprisoned in detention camps.  What I see today is silence from much of society as this country is severely distracted by things that don’t matter, and that is the point as great evils are happening under our noses and we will notice until it’s too late, when our rights are stripped way but that will be too late.

Yes, there are those who awake to what is happening, but even this countries greatest Allies have said nothing, who is standing up for US and the U.S. I will not forget GOD, he is our defender ultimately and this is our reckoning for our cockiness, our payback for being so stupid in who people choose to lead and represent a country.

This decline will force many to just take the law in their own hands, commit crimes of survival, lie, cheat, steal and even murder in the name of survival since this is the message we are told by our government. Yes, I get they are not telling us to do these things, they are not forcing us, but they are handing us the gun, the bullets and whispering that it’s Okay to destroy your fellow human. Now mind you I will not act in this manner, but we live in broken world and in a way, this decline in our country and world is expected as GOD and Jesus proclaimed it.

I often think, haven’t we as a country, even from the world the history of Nazism, Hitler, Authoritarianism not to accept this, but not apparently, we have not learned our lesson, what will it take, I hope we as a country don’t have to find out.  Others have said Well, in a few years he will not be president, so not to worry and whose to say he will leave.

I am not sure what triggered this, there is always something I am watching or listening to that forces me to think deeply about the state of our country and world.
