Here comes Halloween, here comes Halloween! I know Halloween is technically not for a few months, but I have seen some stores gradually begin to introduce decorations. I have always been a fan of Halloween the halloween and the movies, being a horror fan. This was no different when I was a young boy. My father would take my sister and I to the movies often to see the newest horror flicks as I grew with Freddy, Jason and Michael and Chucky I might add. Never a fan of Texas chainsaw for some reason I find it repulsive that some one wears another persons skin.
This week would be a short story that I typed , where most of my stories where hand written. Take a step into my mind in more of the world of horor as I am sure this story was influenced by my viewing habits.
Welcome to this Weeks Weekly Feature number #9, Stories from a child’s past, Stories unearthed from my childhood. These stories I am sharing as a young child I had and continue to have a love for writing.
The writings so far seemed to be when I was in between the ages of ten to thirteen. Many of the examples I provided do have typos, run on sentences and grammatical errors so don’t be surprised if see those.
As a young writer I just loved to write, putting aside punctuation, good sentence structure and my English teach would probably be lecturing me right now, you may want to lecture me, but know this is where my love began.

Original Story

To commemorate the beginning of Fall, I was in the mood for a special short story I wrote when I was 12 years old and this story was actually dated 08/04/1992, that would be 27 years ago today. How time has flown since then.
This story is entitled the Halloween House, a particularly gruesome story. As many of you are aware by now, my love of horror, the strange, paranormal, the unexamined and gruesome. The love of horror has never really changed, I never grew out of it, as I have also had an interest in what the human body can do. The more gruesome the better I say, but even I have elements, I would never watch real death scenes I tried watching those before and didn’t have the stomach for it.
The Halloween House, Transcribed from Original
The Halloween house is the scariest place you can be people say its haunted with GHOSTS, people say that the guy who lives there kills people with an axe they he chops peoples heads off and makes masks out of them. And weres them people also say he has about 300 heads and 800 thousand worth of gold and he got all that money from the victims.

Until one day a boy and a girl decided to go haunting inside people say people go in and never come out but before they go in they have to wait til he leaves his house. It’s 7:05 he finally leaves his house so they go in and take a look around it was very cold they decided to go up stairs so they go into the bedrooms and the boy opens the closet and he see one of his friends hanging there so he screams. He tells the girl they got to get out of there and he hears the door slam he’s in the house and he says they both run for their lives but the owner stops him and grabs them by the arm but the girl gets a way and runs but she falls down and hurts her leg.

So the man runs down and gets her and hangs them to whip them but two more kids come in and bangs him on the head and recues them and calls the police, but the man gets up and locks all the doors by a push of a button and all the windows so he locks it and runs down and get them and hangs all of them to whip them and nobody knows what happened but after that more and more kids keep missing every day who will stop them no body knows.
The End.
Synopsis

Over time the killer accumulates a large wealth from all his victims. An unnamed boy and girl are aware of the strange things that happen in Halloween house, so they wait until the man leaves the house. They make their way into the house searching for answers, finding one of the boy’s friends hanging dead in the closet.

At the exact moment the man comes home and catches they in his house attempting to catch the boy and girl. It appears the boy and girl were able to escape unable to catch the killer, as he locks the doors and windows with push of a button. Over time more kids go missing every day, but no one stops him and no body knows what will happen. The end.
What Does It All Mean
As a lover of horror, I draw a lot of my writing from other sources like movies and books, in this case, there is significance to a killer who chops off the heads of his victims and where’s their face, which you guessed it would be Leather Face and he like to hang his victims. Now not sure if at the age I watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but its possible. I tended to watch a lot of films that shouldn’t have.
I was a good kid, so mom probably just wanted me to be quiet, watching TV and movies and not always able to see what I was watching. In addition, I lived with my grandfather who watched lots of horror films, unfortunately my mind was probably tainted at that age from watching those films, which may have had risque material I don’t recommend kids watching.
The other aspect about this story is exploration, I loved exploring and I probably imagined myself going through a strange house, my imagination probably created a home like Freddy Krueger. Unsure what my fascination with death and killing was, it probably had to do with the unknown, anatomy and the strange. Thank you for taking the time to stroll with me on today’s adventure through my childhood on this weeks weekly feature. Stay tuned for future posts.
The halloween house a story right from my imagination. Even today I took a movies and TV and writers and TV creaters recreate stories already written for the new generations. Shows like Stranger Things, which I thought was decent but certaintly took alot from other films, books and TV shows. But I guess imiation is the best flattery and I know as writer I am probably guilty of that too.
Thank you for joining me once again on my journey into my mind as a child, until next time.
